SLI Rig of the Month
Full Name: Ton Khowdee
Country: USA (Diamond Bar, CA)
Handle: SuAsDu

March was a very, very tough month for NVIDIA. We launched 4 products in one day - the most ever launched on one day in company history - and we were inundated with the most high-quality "Rig of the Month" submissions we've ever seen.

After weighing over a dozen amazing PCs for the April honors, we decided that Ton's PC earned the title of Rig of the Month. Ton *barely* beat out his competion, but he earned it - take a look at what he's packing into this work of art:

Named the "Tribal Eclipse," this mod was designed to perform and turn heads. Ton spent over 3 months creating this PC, with the goal to create something that was both a work of art and a performer. Some of the unique features that set this PC apart from others include:

  • Scissor Side Panel Doors
  • Heat-sensitive paint on the side panels
  • Flip-Up Color LCD
  • Tribal design theme

When the case heats up from gaming (starting at 75 degrees Fahrenheit), it changes to red, and reveals the name of the case on the side panel. Ton cut the top panel tribal design by hand with a Dremel, and there he mounted a red UV acrylic window. The side panel doors were modified to move out and rotate upward. This allows for easy access to internal components, and, according to Ton, is "PIMP." Ton completely modded the PSU to match the theme of the case.

Congrats Ton, and enjoy your reign on the "Rig of the Month" page this April!
